About the Park
Completed in 1999, Clairmont Park is a small rectangular neighborhood park located less than one tenth of a mile north of Peachtree DeKalb Airport on Clairmont Road. The site encompasses 1.5 acres and serves as a connection between Chamblee's oldest neighborhoods: Gordon Acres and Clairmont Hills.
Designed by the surrounding community, the park addresses the needs of the largest demographic groups in the area: senior citizens and young children. The park provides designated walking paths connecting the two neighborhoods and a toddler play area.
