We invite the public to give their input on artists for the mural project at the IDEA gallery located at 5346 Peachtree Road on Friday, June 3 from 4pm-10pm, Saturday, June 4 from 12pm-8pm, and Sunday June 5 from 12pm-8pm.

The Chamblee Main Street Program, a partnership between the City of Chamblee and the Chamblee Downtown Development Authority, has received artist submissions for a proposed wall mural along Peachtree Road. The public is invited to view artist qualifications this weekend at the I.D.E.A. Chamblee art gallery, a new business in Downtown Chamblee that creates a platform for artists to realize the commercial value of their work. Mural artists were asked to submit resumes and samples of their artwork for review. We invite the public to give their input at the gallery located at 5346 Peachtree Road on Friday, June 3 from 4pm-10pm, Saturday, June 4 from 12pm-8pm, and Sunday June 5 from 12pm-8pm. The Main Street Program will select an artist or team to develop a custom design for the mural later this summer.
