Chamblee's Georgia Downtown Renaissance Fellow, Juan da Silva prepared design concepts to improve the city’s historic downtown core this summer. The full report is currently available.
Chamblee was selected as a participant in the 2015 Downtown Renaissance Fellows Program. The program pairs a city with a landscape architecture student to prepare design concepts for streetscape, gateway, public art, and other projects. Juan da Silva, a University of Georgia student, worked with city staff and the Downtown Development Authority to create these ideas to enhance Chamblee's historic core. The City and the DDA will work to make these ideas a reality in the coming years.
