Community Camera Program

Do you currently use a private security camera at your home or business? If you do the Chamblee police department will like to hear from you.

Video surveillance is a key investigative tool used by law enforcement throughout the world. It is one of the best methods to catch an offender in the act of committing crimes which will assist with identifying suspects and bringing them to justice.

 How it works:

The Chamblee Police Department is committed to the partnership we have with the residents and business owners throughout our city. With this program, it will streamline the investigation process of crimes that have already occurred. After registering your cameras with the city, you will only be contacted if a crime occurs in your neighborhood. The Chamblee Police Department will not be able to view your cameras on a live feed. This simply will be a tool used by our investigators to locate cameras in a more efficient way unlike the traditional neighborhood canvass.

How to register:

Simply fill out the form and click submit: https://arcg.is/1fL9Hu

Your information will be kept in a secured and confidential database. You can withdraw at any time by contacting Sergeant Mike Winfield at 470-395-2431 or by email at mwinfield@chambleega.gov. This program is completely voluntary, and we will not share any of your information with anyone outside of the police department.
