Sanitation Services

The Public Works Department provides residential sanitation services 5 days a week, 7 am – 3:30 pm. Each household is assigned a collection day in which garbage, recycling, yard waste and leaf debris are collected.

You can find your collection day here: Chamblee Trash & Recycle Schedule 2020

Households are provided with one complementary 35-gallon, 65-gallon or 95-gallon trash cart and one 65-gallon recycling cart. 35-gallon recycling carts are reserved for residents who meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements or are physically unable to use a larger cart.

To set up a sanitation account, please fill out the Garbage and Recycle Cart Request Form or call 770-986-5019 to make your request. Please do not make multiple requests.

Additional Carts, Replacements & Repairs

Please submit requests for additional carts, replacements or repairs on MyChamblee or call 770-986-5019.
