Sanitation & Recycling

About Sanitation

The City of Chamblee is committed to providing sanitation services in a professional and efficient manner, as cost-effectively as possible. In keeping with that goal, beginning in April 1, 2015, sanitation services were changed to once-a-week pickup.
The new system utilizes an automated mechanism that hoists and dumps roll carts into the collection truck. Each Chamblee residential sanitation customer will be provided, free of charge, with a 95-gallon roll cart for sanitation.

For those who generate less garbage, or who recycle more, 65-gallon carts are available by request. To receive a 65 gallon cart, please fill out  the Garbage and Recycle Cart Request Form or call 770-986-5019 to make your request. Please do not make multiple requests.
