Office of Communications

The Office of Communications is the central contact for all public information, emergency messages, news and media. This office creates and circulates all News Releases through various outlets including broadcast, print and online media. The goal of this office is to develop positive media relations that encourage balanced reporting of City news. 

The office is also responsible for developing and disseminating both the Signal and E-Signal newsletters as well as managing the City's Social Media outlets- Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

Communication Department's Mission
The mission of Chamblee's Communications Department is to ensure communication between the City and citizens to foster a more productive, mutually beneficial relationship. 

Communication Department's Vision
The City of Chamblee will be known for its story: “Community Feel, Global Appeal” to people all over the world and various backgrounds. Chamblee will be featured for its quality services, diversity, and innovation in various publications on a local, national, and international scale. Residents will be actively engaged with the City and informed in a timely manner of all public meetings, events, emergencies and more.
